Hi, I’m Laura Veenema
Welcome to New Song Quilting, LLC (NSQ). I am so glad you're here!
I am Laura, the creative director behind New Song Quilting Co . I work with a small team from my home studio in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Quilting started as just a hobby, but when my youngest son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at just eleven months old, my career in education suddenly pivoted and the NSQ brand was born.
Most NSQ quilts are made-to-order, so contact us right away. We work about 6 months out. Periodically, though, we do drop existing bags and stocking inventory that we sell under the SHOP tab. Sign up for our newsletter to get first notice about shop drops.

Made To Last
New Song Quilts are made to be used, washed, and used again. All of our quilts are made with 100% cotton thread and high-quality cotton, linen, and/or chambray fabrics. We especially like to use wool or bamboo batting for the extra lofty, cozy feel. Our quilts are machine pieced, quilted, and bound so they stay secure wash after wash.

New Song Quilts are improv pieced into modern designs – using modern solid fabrics. We make quilts of all sizes, colors, and designs, but no two will ever be exactly the same.
